
EMPEA 1H 2017 Industry Statistics
Private capital fund managers, encompassing private equity, infrastructure and private credit, invested US$22 billion in disclosed deals in emerging markets in the first six months of 2017, the highest half-year total since EMPEA began reporting on investment in 2008, according to EMPEA’s latest Industry Statistics. An uptick in large transactions in Emerging Asia drove much of the increase in disclosed capital invested in 1H 2017.
